This functional tank ring makes attaching a Hepco & Becker tank bag to your XL 750 Transalp effortless. The package includes a BASIC tank ring as well as a tank bag mount, which can be individually screwed onto the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar angle.

The fuel cap can still be easily opened even with the tank ring installed. Typically, all you need is this tank ring and a Hepco & Becker tank bag to have everything set up perfectly.

Difference Between Lock-it and BASIC Tank Rings: Same Functionality, Slightly Different Features

Compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC tank ring locks only mechanically. The Lock-it tank ring's magnets make centering easier. The difference lies solely in the two magnets or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The model-specific metal ring remains the same for both versions. Note: A tank bag with a Lock-it mount cannot be used with a BASIC tank ring, and vice versa. The bag mount and the ring must be from the same system.
