This functional tank ring allows you to easily attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag to your BMW F 900 GS. The delivery includes a BASIC tank ring as well as the mounting bracket for the tank bag, which can be individually screwed onto the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.

The fuel cap can still be opened without any issues when the tank ring is mounted. Generally, this tank ring and a Hepco & Becker tank bag are all you need for your setup.

Each tank ring is model-specific, such as for the BMW F 900 GS here. If no tank ring is listed, you can also use the store's checklist to manually verify if a universal tank ring is available for the desired model.

Difference Between Lock-it and BASIC Tank Rings: The general function and use remain the same.

However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC tank ring only locks mechanically. The magnets in the Lock-it tank ring assist with centering. The difference lies solely in the two magnets or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The model-specific metal ring is the same for both versions. Note: A tank bag with a Lock-it mount cannot be used with a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The bag mount and tank ring must come from the same system.
