The development of this ULTIMATE engine guard from Wunderlich focused uncompromisingly on maximum protection for adventure riding. Its compact design not only reliably protects the engine but also indirectly protects the water pump, clutch, and alternator—as well as their covers—without affecting ground clearance or the lean angle. The two-piece engine guard fits perfectly and gains additional stability and rigidity thanks to its specific structure, while optimizing the component’s weight. The bars for the right and left sides are securely fastened to two selected mounting points. In the event of a fall or accident, forces are optimally distributed through the protective structure to the mounting points, thereby preventing force and torque spikes and effectively reducing material stress.

For riders who want to sense the lean angle sooner, we recommend our lean angle indicators (#13515-200), which simply attach to the outside of the stock Enduro footpegs.
