This functional tank ring allows you to easily attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag to your Yamaha Tenere 700 and Tenere 700 Rally motorcycle. The delivery includes a BASIC tank ring as well as the tank bag mount, which can be individually screwed onto the tank bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.

The fuel cap can still be opened without any issues when the tank ring is mounted. In general, all you need is this tank ring and a Hepco & Becker tank bag to have everything ready.

Each tank ring is specific to a model, as is the case here for the Yamaha Tenere 700. If no tank ring is listed, you can also use the store’s checklist to manually check whether a universal tank ring is available for the desired model.

Difference Between Lock-it and BASIC Tank Rings: The General Function and Use Remain the Same.

However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC tank ring only locks mechanically. The magnets in the Lock-it tank ring help with centering. The difference lies solely in the two magnets or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The model-specific metal ring is the same for both versions. Note: A tank bag with a Lock-it mount cannot be attached to a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The tank bag mount and the ring must come from the same system.
