Effective protection for the safety switch on the side stand. The ignition cut-off switch is located on the stand’s pivot axis and is therefore highly exposed. Even on relatively flat terrain, this electronic component can easily be damaged by a collision with an obstacle. One possible consequence is that the engine will shut off and will not restart.
