The development of this Wunderlich ULTIMATE engine protection bar focused uncompromisingly on maximum protection for Adventure Riding. Its compact component geometry not only reliably protects the engine but also indirectly shields the water pump, clutch, and alternator, as well as their housing covers, without affecting ground clearance or lean angles. The two-part engine protection bar fits snugly and gains additional stability and rigidity through its specific structure, while optimising component weight. The bars for the right and left sides are securely bolted to two selected mounting points. In the event of a fall or crash, the forces are optimally distributed through the protection bar structure to the load-bearing mounting points, avoiding force and torque peaks and effectively reducing material stress. Combined with the ULTIMATE engine protection bar (#41586-002), it forms a comprehensive, proven all-round protection concept, increasing passive safety and enhancing the joy of riding. The tubing diameter of the engine protection bar structure is 25 millimetres. The tube segments are shaped using CNC tube bending machines and then cleanly welded. Visually, the protection bar integrates into the motorcycle's design, blending seamlessly with its distinctive appearance and highlighting the Adventure look in a high-quality way.
