The development of this Wunderlich GUARD engine guard focused on achieving the perfect balance between maximum protection and low weight. Its compact design reliably protects not only the engine, but also indirectly the water pump, clutch, and alternator, as well as their covers—without compromising ground clearance or lean angle. This two-part engine guard fits perfectly and gains stability and rigidity thanks to its specific structure – while maintaining an optimized weight. The right and left protective bars are securely attached to two selected existing anchor points. In the event of a fall, the forces are optimally distributed via the engine guard structure to the robust anchor points, effectively reducing peak loads and material stresses. In combination with the ULTIMATE tank protector (#41586-004), it forms a proven comprehensive protection concept, improves passive safety, and thus contributes to riding enjoyment. The structure is made from 25 mm precision steel tubes, formed on CNC bending machines and then carefully welded.

Aesthetically, the engine guard blends perfectly into the design of the motorcycle, harmonizing with its striking appearance and enhancing its adventurous look with refinement.
