AXP arrives on Evotech Perf! We offer this skid plate for your BMW F 900 GS, made from high-density polyethylene plastic with a thickness of 8mm. This skid plate is designed for those who prefer not to use lower crash bars. It provides complete protection for the engine block, exhaust, water pump, and casings. The front and rear mounting systems are directly secured to the engine block with a bracing system for enhanced durability. 8mm-thick foam pads are attached to each side of the skid plate to prevent friction and on the reinforcement under the engine to absorb shocks. HDPE is more durable than carbon and 30-40% lighter than its aluminum counterpart. It returns to its original shape after impacts and allows for smooth sliding over obstacles. Another version is compatible with BMW F 900 GS crash bars under the reference EP0000001587.
