Unit Garage now offers a lower engine protection for your BMW R 12 and R 12 NineT with this silver skid plate. This engine guard is made of anodized silver aluminum but is also available in black. The Unit Garage skid plate protects the engine headers and silencers of your BMW R 12 and R 12 NineT. Constructed from 3 mm Peraluman light alloy, it is cold-pressed and features drainage holes: the pronounced ribs reinforce it and are combined with extremely simplified mounting brackets.

It is larger than the original model offered by BMW and is designed to protect the exhaust headers in the front and the most exposed area of the R 12 and R 12 NineT's catalytic converter. It comes with screws, vibration dampers, and spacers, ready to be assembled.
