The BMW R NineT is originally equipped with an exhaust valve designed to limit gas flow at low revs, allowing it to meet homologation standards. However, this valve can restrict the engine, particularly at low and mid-range RPMs. The Unit Garage valve eliminator (reference R 12-1-0850) allows you to remove this restriction while keeping your bike's original exhaust system. By installing it, you unlock the full power and torque of your flat-twin engine across the entire rev range.
NOTE: For Euro4 models, removing the valve will trigger an error code on the dashboard. This issue can be resolved by installing the ESE BM1 Healtech valve motor eliminator module (reference: ESE-BM1, sold separately, see associated products). Not road-legal.
